As most of you know, I absolutely LOVE working with high school seniors!!! I am sure it has something to do with the fact I taught school for 8 years and attending grad school to become a principal. It is in my heart to capture this very special time in their lives and give them something they will cherish throughout their lifetime. Unfortunately, this year (as we all know) their high school days were abbreviated. I reached out to our Class of 2020 JJP Senior Model Reps and asked them to share any accolades they achieved, their thoughts on the current situation and any positive thoughts they would like to share about their future.
In honor of our Class of 2020 JollyJenPhotography Senior Model Reps... we would like to celebrate YOU!!!

Fun things that happened throughout high school career:
- Miss Virginia Junior High 2016
- Josten's Leadership Conference (chosen as 1 of 8 students out of 2100 students to attend the conference in Florida by FCHS.)-Sophomore Year
- Volunteer Public Service-Senior Year-Fork Mountain Adult Home-Visit the residents every day and spend time with them talking about their past.
This is my senior year in high school but I will not allow the pandemic of 2020 to be the highlight of my year. Instead I will choose to embrace this time as a way to connect with the things I have probably taken for granted.
- I will pray more and diligently read my Bible. Mom had me start this at the beginning of the year and yes I am behind.
- I will spend quality time with my little sister. We will cook, laugh and watch some movies from home.
- I will take a walk outside and breathe the fresh air.
- I will give the dog a bath.
- I will clean the house while mom is at work and help with the laundry. She is a nurse and the elderly need her.
- I will wash my car.
- I will visit the rest home and stand outside the window and talk to my resident. (This has definitely been the most difficult thing I have given up is my daily visit with them.)
- I will visit my grandparents because I am blessed to have them.
- I will wear my prom dress to some event if prom should get canceled at school.
- I will study and keep my school work caught up because I know my teachers have my back and want to see me succeed. I miss them way more than they know!
- I will work on my soccer skills because I worked too hard to make the Varsity soccer team to let my skills weaken.
- I will stay in touch with Courtney and plan some time together because that is what friends do.
- I will bake some brownies with Verity and give them to my neighbor...Verity has to keep a cooking log so this will help her stay on target.
- I will finally learn to make homemade biscuits because Verity has begged me to let her teach me!
- I will practice the cheer tryout material to hopefully help the next cheerleader make the team.
- I will workout at home...it releases endorphins that reduce stress!
- I will work on writing some essays for the scholarships I started working on a month ago.
- I will listen to some music and I will dance. I may even get my clogging shoes back out...because I have missed it.
- I will journal each day about the events for that day...this is history in the making!
- I will get through this and I will be a better person when everything is over.
- I will slow down, love more, be more attentive and thoughtful and I will be stronger because of it!
