Hey! My name is Reed Ann and I am a senior at FCHS. While at FCHS I participated in cheerleading for 2 years, I was a national honor society member, and also participated in an internship that changed my life. The biggest lesson I learned from high school was if you’re truly yourself you’ll soon be surrounded by awesome friends who support you endlessly. I loved going to football and basketball games throughout high school and honestly just hanging out with my friends. I also enjoyed gaining close relationships with my teachers who ended up giving me some of the best advice. I am extremely saddened that my senior year was taken away by the corona pandemic, but everything happens for a reason. Before going to college I plan on coming back to FCHS and my internship to say goodbye before I head off to JMU. I think upcoming seniors should never take any day for granted, not even the days where you don’t wanna do that essay or that lab report because it can all be taken away from you extremely fast. I am extremely blessed to have gone to FCHS and it will always hold a tiny piece of my heart, but I am ready for my next journey at JMU. Roll Dukes!”
